As a leading children’s charity, the NSPCC is continuously looking for new ways to support the physical and mental health of children in the UK. As well as campaigning against sexual abuse, the charity prides itself on equipping parents with the right tools to help their children enjoy a healthy and happy childhood. The practice of ‘mindfulness’ has surged in popularity and was an area that the NSPCC was keen to tap into. The brief outlined a response that was accessible and engaging for all children, including those who are very young. From this challenge, the Slothingtons were born. A family of stress-free sloths who would help parents and children find their inner piece. The characters were taken across a range of deliverables including mindfulness guides, activity books, and supporting products sold in their online shop.
